Dear Neighbours,
On MONDAY May 28th from 4-7pm the City of Calgary, Affordable Housing group will be hosting an information Open House at the Southview Community Hall. I hope you will all come out and learn about the Affordable Housing project proposed for Southview. This will also be an opportunity for everyone in our community to provide constructive input into the project and voice any concerns you may have.
The intent of this engagement is to help inform the decision making process on the project. Our Board has been hard at work behind the scenes getting this engagement to take place. We feel that the project is early enough in the planning process that there is room for a constructive conversation.
There has been many recent situations in the City where these engagement events have been disrespectful to everyone involved, but I am sure we can rise above that here in Southview, and be a positive influence. I hope you will support the Boards work by coming out to the event.
